Sutherland attorneys James K. Hasson, Jr., Matthew J. Gries and Karim H. Hanafy are speaking as part of a panel on the latest non-profit topics on August 5, 2008, at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The panel will discuss: The New Form 990: Change and Complexity; What’s With All The Policies?  Legal and Practical Issues; Accounting Principles: Changes for Non-Profits; Is Any of This Relevant for Private Foundations?; and Governance, Transparency and Public Relations.

Sutherland is also a sponsor of this event, which will walk attendees through the changing environment for non-profit organizations, including rules, regulations, governance requirements and forms. The event will feature presentations, a panel discussion and a question and answer session.
