The 2004 International Council of Shopping Centers Southeast Conference will be held October 25-27 at the Cobb Galleria Centre near Atlanta. The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) is the global trade association of the shopping center industry. Its membership includes shopping center owners, developers, managers, marketing specialists, investors, lenders, retailers and other professionals, as well as academics and public officials. This year's Southeast Conference theme is "Searching for the Next Frontier," and at least 3,000 attendees from the region are expected.
Sutherland is proud to be an official sponsor of the Conference Reception, scheduled for Tuesday, October 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel.
Sutherland partner Jim Jordan will lead a panel discussion on Tuesday, October 26, from 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Jim's panel will cover Outparcels - Restaurants/Ground Leases/Sales; Assignment and Subletting; Uses - Permitted, Prohibited and Protected; and Hot Topics: Brokers Practicing Law/Environmental Concerns/Insurance. Sutherland associate Jennifer Van Ness will lead a breakfast roundtable on "Shopping Center Development Agreements from the Big Box Anchor Tenant Perspective" on Wednesday, October 27, at 7:30 a.m.
