International Trademarks Association (INTA) Roundtable

Sutherland attorney David E. Weslow is presenting "Policing trademarks on the Internet, an update, including protecting and policing trademarks on social networks and sites such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Second Life," January 12, 2010, at Sutherland’s office in Washington, DC.

This presentation is part of a series of INTA Roundtables being held January 11-22, 2010, entitled "Policing Trademarks on the Internet and the Web 2.0."  The roundtables will take place in various U.S. cities on topics such as: Social Media Marketing; Lanham Act Considerations in the Web 2.0 World; Secondary Trademark Liability; Communications Decency Act - 47 U.S.C. § 230 ("CDA"); and Blogging. Attendees will have the opportunity to network and trade thoughts with peers, compare and learn new strategies, and address common issues and challenges facing the trademark and intellectual property community.
