Southeast Biomass: Project Development Incentives and Challenges

March 31, 2010

Georgia Tech Clean Energy Speaker Series

Sutherland attorney Amish M. Shah is speaking at the next installment of the Georgia Tech Clean Energy Speaker Series, "Southeast Biomass: Project Development Incentives and Challenges," March 31, 2010, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Participants can attend for free in person at the Centergy Building on Georgia Tech's campus or via Webinar.

The program will provide an overview of the available incentives for investments in renewable energy projects and current practical and policy issues regarding those incentives. The speakers will also discuss the actual impact of incentives on energy producers and consumers.

Sutherland is a proud sponsor of the series, which features presentations on issues surrounding clean energy in the Southeastern United States, including the projected need for electric energy and oil and natural gas, and the opportunities and challenges for meeting those needs with clean energy technologies.
