Daniel is speaking on FERC's role and authority to assess civil penalties under EPAct 2005, how FERC determines non-compliance and misconduct, assessments of recent cases and how to defeat an alleged misconduct claim, how and when is a compliance program deemed comprehensive enough to mitigate FERC penalty, the factors that reduce the penalty under PSE, managing the PR impact of an investigation, and minimizing negative impact on day-to-day operations of management and employees.
