33rd Annual Legal Conference: What Bank CEOs (and their Lawyers) Should Know

March 29-30, 2007

The Texas Bankers Association is hosting their 33rd Annual Legal Conference on March 29-30, 2007 in Austin, Texas.  This year's conference, titled What Bank CEOs (and their Lawyers) Should Know - 2007, will include broad segments entitled Banking Without Borders, Business Basics of Banking and Texas as a Banking Mecca.  The keynote speaker for Friday will be Sara A. Kelsey, the new General Counsel of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.  Sutherland Partner Don Wood will serve as Chair of this year's conference.

Among topics and speakers lined up for this year's conference, Sutherland Partner Jerry Higdon will discuss Brownfield Lending (considerations for loaning money for the redevelopment of contaminated property) and Sutherland Partner Paul Bishop will discuss Capital Raising (practical considerations in private offerings, potential offering exemptions from securities regulation, blue sky issues and other capital raising topics).  If you would like to register, please click here.
