Eleventh Circuit business blog

Tracking business cases in the Eleventh Circuit.

The Eleventh Circuit Business Blog reports on recent decisions of significance to business clients from the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. The blog is produced by members of Eversheds Sutherland’s appellate practice, which is chaired by Tom Byrne. The perspectives offered are those of the individual contributors and do not represent the views of any of our clients.

During the past five years alone, we have represented clients in appeals before the Supreme Court of the United States, every federal circuit and many state appellate courts. These appeals have involved substantive areas including antitrust, bankruptcy, telecommunications, land use, energy, franchising and distribution, professional liability, intellectual property, securities law, insurance law, education, employment, class actions, construction, and real property. Contact us if you’d like more information.

Elbert Parr Tuttle, one of Sutherland’s founding partners, served as a judge on the Court or its predecessor from 1954 through 1996, and was chief judge during most of the civil rights era. The Eleventh Circuit courthouse now bears his name.
