ATLANTA and WASHINGTON—Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP is pleased to announce that the firm was awarded the Gold Standard Certification for the third consecutive year by Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF). Only 45 law firms received the Gold Standard Certification this year.
WILEF is a national organization that helps women in law achieve their goals and supports retention. Each year, law firms with 200 or more lawyers are eligible for certification based on six different evaluation criteria. In order to achieve Gold Standard Certification, firms must demonstrate that women represent a meaningful percentage of their equity partners, of their highest leadership positions, of their governance and compensation committees, and of their most highly compensated partners.
“We are pleased to be recognized again by WILEF,” said James L. Henderson III, the firm’s Chief Diversity Officer. “We a continually seek to expand the diversity in our leadership positions and at the highest ranks of our firm, and we are honored to be recognized for our achievements.”
