Sutherland Partner Recognized for “All-Star” Client Service

March 10, 2014

ATLANTA—Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP is pleased to announce that Intellectual Property Practice Group Partner Peter G. Pappas was named a BTI Client Service All-Star for 2014. The annual list recognizes attorneys who were identified by clients at some of the world’s largest companies for superior service. Fewer than 30 of the 331 attorneys named to the list are intellectual property lawyers.

“Being singled out by a client for providing excellent service is an incredible compliment. Pete is an outstanding IP lawyer, and we are grateful that he was recognized for the service he provides,” said Sutherland Managing Partner Mark D. Wasserman.

The BTI Client Service All-Star Awards are the result of interviews with corporate counsel conducted by the BTI Consulting Group. The Group focuses on Fortune 1000 companies and large organizations to probe different aspects of law firm relationships, including the needs and priorities of clients and the quality of service.

Mr. Pappas counsels clients on all aspects of intellectual property protection and transactions. With a degree in chemical engineering, he concentrates in chemical patent prosecution, and advises clients in mechanical patent prosecution, federal trademark prosecution, licensing, validity and infringement opinions and litigation support. Mr. Pappas is resident in Sutherland’s Atlanta office.
