ATLANTA (Thursday, September 29, 2011) – At the National Diversity Council’s Georgia Leadership Conference, held today at the Crowne Plaza, Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP Partner Allegra J. Lawrence-Hardy was named as a "2011 Most Powerful and Influential Woman of Georgia."
At the annual event, Allegra was recognized for her leadership excellence, record of accomplishments, clout, commitment to community well-being, and high ethical standards.

Allegra is a partner in Sutherland’s Litigation Practice Group, a co-leader of the Business and Commercial Litigation team and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. She also is a member or past member of the Board of Directors for a number of Atlanta community organizations, including the Atlanta Habitat for Humanity, the Atlanta Community Food Bank, the Atlanta Legal Diversity Consortium, the Leadership Institute for Women of Color in Law and Business, the Atlanta Girls’ School, and National Girl Scout Council.
