ATLANTA—Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP is pleased to announce that Partner Allegra J. Lawrence-Hardy has been named to the “Rainmakers” list by Diversity & the Bar, a publication of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association.
The annual list, published in the magazine’s November/December issue, profiles the professional successes of leading diverse attorneys. Selected from a pool of nominations, Ms. Lawrence-Hardy was chosen for having an established record of generating business.
“Allegra inspires all of us at Sutherland to not only be excellent attorneys, but also to be valuable and trusted business partners to our clients,” said Mark D. Wasserman, managing partner of Sutherland. “Her commitment to integrity and providing the highest quality of services to her clients is reflected by this recognition. We are proud to congratulate her for being included on this list.”
In her featured profile, Ms. Lawrence-Hardy explained to Diversity & the Bar that she credits her success to her focus on understanding her clients’ businesses. “I like to get on a plane and go to clients, to get out and walk the manufacturing floor, to really understand the technology. The business piece impacts a great deal of the legal strategy. Every good relationship requires an investment.”
At Sutherland, Ms. Lawrence-Hardy co-heads the firm’s Business and Employment Practices team. She works with her clients on complex commercial and labor and employment matters. An integral member of the firm’s award-winning Legal Project Management program, she helps develop processes and tools for improving the efficiency and delivery of legal services. She also is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.
