WASHINGTON—Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP is pleased to announce that Counsel Patrice Pitts has been recognized with the 2014 Joseph Henry Award from Princeton University. She accepted her award at The Princeton Club of Washington’s annual dinner on June 11, 2014.
The Joseph Henry Award is given annually to alumni of the university in recognition for their service and contributions to the university and its community. Ms. Pitts received her A.B., with honors, from Princeton University and has been a member of a number of alumni committees and efforts, including the Alumni Schools Committee, Alumni Council, the Princeton Prize in Race Relations and the Annual Giving campaign. She is a member of the Princeton Club of Washington and the Association of Black Princeton Alumni, which honored her with the ABPA Alumni Service Award.

Ms. Pitts combines her legal and business experience, including nine years on the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) staff, to guide clients on regulatory matters involving investment companies, investment advisers and variable insurance products. She counsels clients regarding registration, reporting, disclosure and compliance issues under the federal securities laws.
